World Art Day

World Art Day is celebrated annually on 15th April, being the birth date of one of the world’s greatest artist, Leonardo da Vinci. During this global crisis, we celebrate the arts as medium for coping with the uncertainty and stress endured as a result COVID-19. The arts are also a medium for cultural expression. We celebrate the active role of artists and artisans in the promotion and safeguarding of Belize’s living heritage with their unique creativity and passion.
